NCDCTA Junior Club

NCDCTA is pleased to announce the Junior Club is officially underway. Open to all NCDCTA members ages 7 - 21. 19 and 21 year olds can participate as advisors in training.

The NCDCTA Junior Club will consist of one club with several chapters. The purpose of the club is to develop junior member’s knowledge, skills, leadership, and appreciation of dressage and combined training. Juniors will plan and participate in meetings, educational activities, volunteering, community service projects, and have fun with other juniors who have the same equine interest. Listed are the steps to creating a chapter in your area.

Steps to creating a chapter
  1. Two adult members as advisors or one adult and one advisor in training.
  2. Read Junior Club Chapter By Laws.
  3. Read Junior Club Helpful Hints.
  4. Complete NCDCTA Junior Chapter Registration Form and send to Kris Daniel. A membership number will be emailed back to the advisor.
  5. Each rider needs to fill out the Junior Club Membership Information Form (advisor should keep forms with them at all times).
  6. Once a year complete NCDCTA Junior Club Yearly Summary Report.
*Please note the official start of the Junior Club was November 30, 2011.

NCDCTA is very excited about reaching out to our juniors. Please come to one our information meetings. In order for this to be a success we need advisors. Please consider organizing and advising a chapter in your area. Download the helpful hints to kick off your first meeting. Just remember this is going to be a chapter run by juniors for juniors.
