Kim Shaw Junior Sportsmanship Award The Kim Shaw Junior Sportsmanship Award is a perpetual trophy donated by Elaine Gross in Kim's memory. Kim could always be seen at competitions encouraging other young riders to enjoy their horses, and congratulating winners. This trophy is awarded to the NCDCTA Junior Member selected by fellow Junior Members through nominations and secret ballot at the Annual Awards Banquet in recognition of good sportsmanship and dedication to dressage and combined training.
